Tea Party

Grandmama planned a tea party for Annette while we're here in Kansas, because she knows Annette *loves* to have tea parties.  And she planned it well, brewing a light Children's Tea and ordering petits fours from a bakery in Wichita (30 miles away!).  She also made cream cheese cucumber sandwiches and lime squares and used her finest tea cups.  Grandmama used the beautiful tablecloth her mother had crocheted when she was a young girl, and she lit a tall, thin, pink candle for ambiance.  

Wade, Lucas and Mr. Hamilton decided to decline the invitation, but Davey & I attended, and we had a grand time.

Miss Lulu and Miss Bunny also joined us.

We each wore a pretty hat, provided by Grandmama.

Davey opted for a baseball cap.

It was a lovely occasion!
